Vending machines are some of the most impressive pieces of technology of our time. When was the last time you went out without seeing some sort of vending machine dispensing a needed product? We get all sorts of things from these helpful machines, from food to water to those plastic security checkpoint bags at the airport. The variety of items found in vending machines today is ever-expanding. In some places, it’s possible to get an emergency overnight kit in a vending machine. The kit contains such essential items as a razor, shaving cream, toothbrush, and soap for when you get stuck away from home for an evening. As the cost of vending machines goes down, it will be very interesting to see which items will no longer be sold by a clerk in a store but a machine behind the counter instead.
